Snappy Chef was nominated by readers who wrote in Snappy Chef's name and then won the contest ahead of two other nominated caterers. Snappy Chef was one of three finalists in last year's contest. Owner/Chef Doug Simon and his wife Sue Port Simon accepted the Hometown Favorite Caterer Award from The Mirror staff at a reception held in December.     Snappy Chef Caters Bedford Chamber Business After Hours

    Snappy Chef put on the ritz for the holiday Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours in Bedford! Each room of the historic Anderson House was filled with Snappy Chef food stations, featuring a delicious made-to-order pasta station, dessert extravaganza, plus sumptuous butlered hors d’oeuvres and stations. Carla Koontz from the Chamber commented that the planning, food presentation and taste appeal exceeded their expectations and the staff could not have been more helpful.

    At The Casino/Snappy Chef employee holiday party, Kitty Laing was named Employee Of The Year by the owners and supervisors. During Owner Doug Simon's announcement of the award winner, he said, " Laing has been an employee for just over a year and in that short period of time, she took on the leadership role as a supervisor for Snappy Chef.
