at The Casino at Lakemont Park and Snappy Chef. We are
proud to say that this is our sixth edition of our e-newsletter! We
recently changed the appearance of our letter. We appreciate your

 Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Bedford & Somerset Counties held their
First Annual Bedford County Bowl for Kids Sake Saturday, May
10, 2003. Snappy Chef's own Business Development Coordinator, Helen
Sickle was there demonstrating her lane skills. Not only does Helen
have great bowling talent, but she also serves on the Board of Directors.
Ten teams raised a total of $4,000 to implement the programs
for children in Bedford County. Preparations are already underway
for the 2004 Bowl for Kids Sake. Way to go Helen!

Simon of Snappy Chef Catering Fashions Fine Food Masterpieces for
Miracle Miners Community Foundation Kickoff
 Windber,
PA. The guests were relaxed, the atmosphere was graciously elegant,
and the rains held back Saturday, June 14, 2003 as more than 200 special
guests gathered together to celebrate the Miracle Miners Community
Foundation and to revel in the upcoming events that commemorate
the heroic rescue of 9 trapped Pennsylvania Miners. The event was
coordinated by Snappy Chef's Helen Sickle. Feted like kings and queens
by Chef/Owner Douglas Simon of The Casino at Lakemont
Park and Snappy Chef Catering, the spectacular soiree was made ever
more special thanks to the exquisitely prepared cuisine.
Vivian
Ahrens, event organizer and president of fundraising and special event
company Vivian Ahrens Associates, called Chef Simon's efforts magnificent.
