The Casino partnered with the American Heart Association for the 2007 Heartball for an overwhelmingly successful fundraising event, raising more than $53,000 in one night! This is just one of many events when The Casino works with local organizations to raise funds for community programs. We're proud to be a strong community partner. Learning From A Pro!
The Bear Den of Pack 332 recently earned their Cooking and Meal Prep Achievements by spending an evening at The Casino. The Scouts worked with Chef Michael Mariskanish (back), who is an Eagle Scout. They set the tables, prepped and cooked their own made-to-order sloppy joes and baked potato wedges, served their parents and then cleared the tables.

Bridal Season in Bloom!
The Casino and Snappy Chef Catering greeted hundreds of brides at several area bridal shows this winter, including one held at The Casino. There are still dates available for wedding receptions in 2007, and planning for 2008 and 2009 is underway! Brides and grooms-to-be were impressed with our food samples and beautiful room and table displays, and booked our services for rehearsal dinners and showers! The Casino and Snappy Chef were pleased to join forces with Always A Party Rentals, Hollidaysburg and Florals on the Corner, Lilly, for the outstanding displays during the Hot 100 Bridal Show at The Casino in February.
We are also excited and pleased to announce our affiliation with Scotch Valley Country Club. As of December 2006 The Casino is the exclusive caterer for this uniquely designed facility tucked away in the middle of the Scotch Valley area with breathtaking views of the golf course and a backdrop of the mountains.
