Creating Memories at The Casino
It was another successful Prom season at The Casino at Lakemont Park. We hosted Bishop Guilfoyle, Hollidaysburg, Penn Cambria, Tussey Mountain and Central High Schools with prom themes ranging from Casino Nights to Mardi Gras to Red Carpet. Hundreds of high school students were decked out and celebrating one of the most memorable nights of their lives at The Casino. Our staff is already working with school coordinators on next year's proms!
Wedding Weekends!!
Many of the brides holding their receptions at The Casino are coming because they have such fond memories of their prom night here years ago! There are a few dates still available for fall 2008...and 2009 is filling up! Call Vicky Mirenda for dates and wedding package information at The Casino. Mango Madras1 oz mango rum
2 oz orange juice
2 oz cranberry juice
Mix all ingredients together, serve over ice in tall glass.
Appleade
2 pts sour apple schnapps
1 pt vodka
Pour schnapps and vodka over ice in tall glass and fill with lemonade.
*If serving melon, a Washington or California Reisling is nice.
*With grilled chicken or seafood, try San Giuseppe Pinot Grigio.

The judges voted Chef Ryan Gracey's chili recipe as #1 at the MHBC Foundation 1st Annual Chili Open Cook-Off. The event was held in conjunction with the Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament at Down River Golf Course in Everett. Chef Ryan prepared "Snappy Chef Chili" and described it as fiesta chili — a party in your mouth! Congrats Chef Ryan!
