Summer Dinner Theatre at The Casino
One of the highlights of summer is back.... Dinner Theatre at The Casino. The Tyrone Community Players will perform on stage, entertaining the audience with "MY WAY, A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra ". Conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson. This is the hottest musical revue of the new millennium. It premiered at the Tennessee Repertory Theatre in June of 2000. It is one of the fastest growing sensations in musical theatre history, with 57 incredible songs. "MY WAY" celebrates the mystique of Frank Sinatra and the music he made famous.
The Casino chefs will be preparing a delicious dinner to savor before the performance, featuring Herb Roasted Salmon and Stuffed Chicken Florentine as the main entrees...wow, what a night!

In The Keystone Kitchen
Doug Simon, Casino owner and Executive Chef, was in the kitchen with WTAJ TV 10's Patrick Shurr, cooking up some Corn Chowder. The segment appeared on WTAJ's morning segment Keystone Kitchen. Chef Doug and The Casino kitchen staff prepared Corn Chowder to serve at this year's American Cancer Society's Culinary Carousel. The Casino won awards for Best Dessert, 2nd Place for Best Soup and Best Booth Display.

Chef Terry walked away with top honors at the Children's Miracle Network Chocolate Lover's Festival.

The proceeds from this event help fund pediatric equipment, programs and services at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital and throughout the Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania.
Casino Staff Volunteers!
Helen Sickle, Snappy Chef Catering, participated in Read Across America in March by reading to students at Northern Bedford Elementary School in Bedford. Sue Cobler, Casino Sales and Marketing also enjoyed reading to first graders at Frankstown Elementary School in Hollidaysburg.

Welcome Yvonne Crownover!
Yvonne is a 2003 graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Recreation Management with an emphasis in commercial recreation. She joined the Casino and Snappy Chef in December of 2004 bringing her experience in sales, business development and special events planning to our team.
Yvonne's primary responsibilities include ensuring that all Snappy Chef catered events run smoothly and efficiently as well as assisting the Business Development Coordinator in creating new business opportunities for us. Yvonne's greatest assets are her attention to detail, proficiency in her job and her joyful attitude. She enjoys working with the staff and customers to guarantee the success of every event.
